Paramount on the Bay - not quite open… yet.
Monday, August 29th, 2011Paramount on the Bay - this project has been plagued since day one with problems from a deadly crane accident destroying the historic home used in the movie “There’s Something About Mary” to the original developer losing the property to default. Currently the new building’s owner is pouring $14mil into renewing the unused common areas, entries, and port cochere driveway. As of today the building is still not quite ready to begin sales even though the property has essentially been completed for two years - it’s a bit shocking and dissappointing to be honest.
The upside to the delays is that Paramount will be the only brand new, full lux building coming online in 2012 in the Downtown Miami area. Paramount’s units all feature private elevators & foyers, oversized balconies (some as large as 3,000sq/ft!), and high-end appliances - combined with a flow-thru East-to-West design there isn’t a condo at Paramount that lacks for view from the new Marlins Dome to Biscayne Bay.
