Museum Park finally a go?

Monday, July 5th, 2010

While I’d still like my inside source with the Miami Parks & Rec to confirm this article, it does appear that Museum Park will finally be happening and the renovation & cleaning up of Bicentennial Park on Biscayne Bay is due to occur over the next 5-6 months.

I expect this to have a serious impact on the immediate neighborhood as this project should remove all of the homeless from the park on a permanent basis making it a welcome place for all instead of a dirty and scary place few want to visit.  Additionally the Bicentennial Park stop on the MetroMover should be able to be reopened which will help bring additional traffic to the area.

I would expect property values at Marina Blue, 900 Biscayne Bay, Ten Museum Park (it’ll finally live up to its name!), and Marquis Condo Hotel to be positively affected by this development as well as the nearly complete project at the Omni Center where a new Publix grocery will be opening.

900 Biscayne Condo 10 line Video Tour

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

While preparing to show a high floor 10 line unit at 900 Biscayne Condominium I took this video:

I like the 10 line at 900 Biscayne Condo quite a bit - this is an 1,140sq/ft N/NE facing one bedroom plus den unit.  Some of the features I like are the twin balconies (one each off the living space and bedroom), the second full bathroom, and an open kitchen facing the view.

900 Biscayne SE View

I finally got a chance to hard hat tour 900 Biscayne and so far it sure looks to be living up to the hype. The standard marble is just gorgeous - and it is used liberally. I saw the three cabinet styles - white, maple, and dark wood (wenge?) and definitely prefer the most common used, the dark wood. I saw all of the one bedrooms lines, they are all virtually identical and have great layouts and plenty of room. An interesting feature is the half bath has a shower stall, good for rinsing off after the beach/pool. Nicely size balconies and killer views from all of them as well. I also managed to see a G Penthouse on the 63rd floor and it was just amazing - FIVE terraces including a pretty big one off the master bath! An interesting layout and plenty of space make this a really great condo - at $1.8M or so I think there is value to be had.
