Museum Park finally a go?
Monday, July 5th, 2010While I’d still like my inside source with the Miami Parks & Rec to confirm this article, it does appear that Museum Park will finally be happening and the renovation & cleaning up of Bicentennial Park on Biscayne Bay is due to occur over the next 5-6 months.
I expect this to have a serious impact on the immediate neighborhood as this project should remove all of the homeless from the park on a permanent basis making it a welcome place for all instead of a dirty and scary place few want to visit. Additionally the Bicentennial Park stop on the MetroMover should be able to be reopened which will help bring additional traffic to the area.
I would expect property values at Marina Blue, 900 Biscayne Bay, Ten Museum Park (it’ll finally live up to its name!), and Marquis Condo Hotel to be positively affected by this development as well as the nearly complete project at the Omni Center where a new Publix grocery will be opening.
