Did anyone read this misinformed article?
I bet some of you read this Miami Herald article:
Condo Has Space - Not For Cars
Sadly it is woefully inaccurate. I live in the The Loft Downtown 1 (and have since it opened two years ago) and we have a 45 year lease with the MPA, The Loft Donwtown 2 has a 30 year, The Loft Downtown 3 has 1 one year, and The Loft Downtown 4… nada. The article portrays The Loft Downtown 1 & The Loft Downtown 2 projects as having essentially monthly, short-term rentals and that is simply not true - these are great “entry-level” buildings WITH parking. Now I’ll admit it isn’t right in the building but living downtown for half the price of the other new high-rises I’m willing to walk the half block to my gated space. In the near term I feel that parking IS important - we just don’t have the infrastructure or density of, say, Manhattan where cars are totally unnecessary. Almost all of my clients have a car so a space is high on the list of things that need to be on the checklist to even have an interest in the building, let alone an apartment. What does this mean for The Loft Downtown 3 & The Loft Downtown 4? I’m not sure, they are still several years down the pipe and things may change drastically by then. Stay tuned!

I’m interested in the loft downtown, due to the prices. Are you a broker? Want to show me the best place there? Thanks.

Of course I’d be happy to show you the Loft Downtown - Jamie Blumenfeld is a licensed Realtor in Florida and works for the @ Home Property brokerage firm.
As of today the best rental unit available is #1001 on the NW corner - it is a two bedroom with ~1,000 sq/ft and partial Biscayne Bay view. Pricing will run ~$1,600/mo depending on negotiations.
Availability at the Loft changes rapidly with the two bedrooms going VERY quickly - they typically rent within the week due the limited number of units, their superiority over the smaller one bedrooms, and relatively low cost.
To see the latest listing do not hesitate to contact Jamie Blumenfeld, PA @ 305-785-4618 or jamie@armiami.com
